In this image, the subject is positioned at a 90 degree angle to the window. This is shown with the hard contrast between the light on the side of the face facing the window and the side facing away from the window.
In this image, the subject is positioned roughly at a 45 degree angle to the window. The aim her was to achieve a smooth transition of light to dark tones along the face. The image came out slightly blurry and it is unfortunately the best example I could get for this task. The weather on this day also definitely didn't help and adjusting to things like that is something I hope I learn with more practice.
In this image, the subject used a reflector in order to redirect the natural light coming from the window in order to light up the entire face.
In this image, the subject is facing directly towards the window in order for the entire face to be lit up with natural light whilst the back of the head is dark.
